自由度が高く、なん度もなん度も遊べる、アリスソフトらしい秀作。基本、戦国国盗りゲームだが、経営シミュレーション的要素も強い。また、サブイベントが多数用意されており、もちろんマルティエンディングになっている。
悪司はヤクザの親分というだけあって、情け容赦がない。そして、ランスシリーズとはずいぶん毛色が異なり、裏社会で権謀術数が繰り広げられる。「悪」という言葉にふさわしい奸雄である。
