冒頭以外は男性だった時の姿は出てきません。ですから、「元男」という設定が気に入らない方でも冒頭と読み飛ばせば、それなりに楽しめるかと思います。
とはいえ、ある程度の知識がある分、そこにある恐怖を想像しながら読むと、変えられていく姿がとてもすてきというか、快感だというか。

何種類かの分岐がありましたが、私にとってはハズレがない作品でした。
