連作シリーズ「少女の道草」の中で、「古き良き時代の写真集」をテーマとした「妖精達〜」リーズの第1弾。シリーズはこの後3部作となって続く。

70年代〜80年代を知る40代以上の世代にとっては、まさに「ノスタルジック」、セピア色の回想に誘われる秀作である。

なお、3人の画家の合作になっている。

本作の秀逸なところは、少女たちに意図的に卑猥なポーズをとらせず、自然なポーズをとらせることで、それが少女たちのイノセントな無防備さを強調し、独特のエロティシズムを生み出している点だろう。
