オイスター作品にしては、プレイ内容が大人しい本作。
その分、話の欝度はトップクラスです。

カルト宗教の喰い物にされる父娘を描いた「信じる心」や表題作「仔猫」も相当なものですが、中でも強烈なのは、短編「届かぬ先」
家族を事故で失った少女がさらに追い込まれる展開は、心を抉られるの一言です。初期の作品なので絵柄は今と異なりますが、オイスターの心裡描写が好きな人にオススメです。
