短編ということもあって、いろいろなバリエーションで楽しめる点がいいですね。
　とくに気に入ったのは、寸前オナニー、処刑人は夕立、麻薬組織に身を捨てる、の3本。
　いずれも結末は本書のタイトルが示す通りなのですが、そこへ進んで行くプロセスがすさまじい。身を乗り出す感じ。もっとも、ここまで陰惨なものが大好物な人だけに、おすすめします。
　もっとも、描写そのものは知的で端正です。そこもいい点かもしれません。
