多少重苦しい話もありますが、基本的にはハッピーエンドで安心して読めます。
絵は味絵とでもいうのか、きれいに整った絵ではありませんが、思春期の少年の透明感や質感を非常によくあらわしていると思いました。特に最後に乗っている合唱部の少年の話がおまけの成長後も含めて、その瞬間にしかない瑞々しさを感じられて良かったです。
