凌鬼の刻と凌鬼の果は天竺浪人の一つの頂点だと思う。
変態の内面まで描き出す描写、絵柄は垢抜けているが商業的な手抜きがない。
狂った兄と妹、トラウマを抱えた親友の変態性欲の暴走は最後に悲劇的な展開を迎えるが、それは大人になるための青春の門でもあった。爽やかさを感じる最後は意外。
