思わず、タイムリープ作品か?と思ってしまった本作ですが、好評だからこそ続編(別の旅館が舞台なので、そう呼んでいいかは不明)が出たのだと思います。シンプルで分かり易いのがいい。最大の売りは、妊婦とのカラミでしょうね。妊婦には固有の美しさがあります。本作はそれが活きている。妊婦を社会的弱者や日陰者扱いなど、ここでは無しで、素晴らしい。
