前作「花の輪」の二年後が舞台であり、前作からさらに蟲たちとのラブラブが楽しめる出来となっています。
前作では描かれなかった新しい蟲たちや、スポットを浴びていなかった女の子たちが見られます。
この作品は蟲産産業という独特の設定が活きていて、グロテスクな、現実では害虫とさえ呼ばれる蟲たちと美少女が、すんなり異種和姦を成立させている、という点が違和感などなく没入できて素晴らしいです。
