前作『見習い騎士アーシェの受難』の続編で、かつて脱出した悪の秘密基地に再度捕らえられてしまった見習い騎士の少女が、やはり脱出を目指すRPGです。

攻略するのは前作と同じステージですが、仕掛けや謎解き要素がプラスされ若干難易度が上がっています(ただしワープ機能が追加されたので、プレイしやすくはなった)。
戦闘での敗北イベントも、前作の流用+新規イベント追加で、その数は倍になっています。
イベントCGはどれも細かく描き込まれた美麗イラスト揃いで、一見の価値ありだと思います。
また、前作同様マルチエンディングにもなっています。
