前作の百鬼夜行と違いクエストを受けてどのモンスターを倒すというものではなく、自由に移動してボスと戦える。
ワールドは結構広く敵モンスターも多い。
コスチュームの数も多く、今作はギャラリーモードでコスチュームや髪などを変えたり、自分で視点も動かせるようになっていたのが良かった。
