グラッセン戦役の前日譚、第1巻。
　元々、DPCさんのHP上でのゲーム企画からスタートした「グラッセン戦記」の全年齢向け補完本。
全年齢向け作品ということで、成人向け要素は一切無し。
　本作品を読むことで、企画内や成人向け作品では語られなかった、グリューネワルト騎士団長と各部隊長たちの性格や背景・人間関係などを伺い知ることが出来る。
　読後に「グリューネワルト騎士団シリーズ」の成人向け同人誌への感情移入がより進み、読み応えも倍増することは間違いない。(注:本作品は成人向け「SoldatenFrauen」とも連動している。)
#2と併せての、購読がおススメ。
#3からの続編の執筆にも、期待したい。
