1.2アップデートパッチとはなっていますが、アップデート内容がとても多く実質的な拡張パックとなっています。
特に大きいのが2週目にて引き継ぎできるものによって2周めの難易度が大きく変わってくるところですね。
1.1までで遊び尽くしても再び遊べるようなパッチとなっています。

ただ、密着モードなど一部システムの関係で攻略難易度も変わっているので、一度1.1でゲームをある程度プレイしてからアップデートするとより楽しめるかと思います
