先に断っておけばこの作品はシリーズ物に分類される。

とはいえこの作品からでも十分に楽しめると思う。
一人のとっぽくも不思議な魅力を湛えた男と刀剣の妖怪変化みたいな物が繰り広げる珍道中は、とても心地よい空気感で、それが後半の怒濤の展開の連続と合わさってもの凄い。

ただ世界設定やキャラクターにつながりがあるので、そこにはやはり留意しておくといいかもしれない。
