この3巻は少年バトル漫画の定番中の定番です。
いわゆる修業パートです。
しかも、それは主人公一人だけとは限りません。
時系列や場所を錯綜し、ライバルも力を得る選択を迫られ、描き下ろしでは気になる四天王の過去の成長が見られて手に汗握る展開でした。
でも、やっぱりメインは主人公の行く末です。
膂力が無く強くなれないと烙印を押された彼ですが、その躍進には不思議な期待感があり、汗だくになって頑張る姿には応援した気持ちが沸き起こりました。
