繰り返す人生の中での苦悩や裏切り、その中で裏にある真実を探す信長の旅路の完結編です。
繰り返すごとに各戦の陣営の内容が変わっているのも魅力的です。
本能寺の変の理由は当時の世界情勢を考えるとあり得ないことではなく、光秀をただ裏切り者とはと断じることはできない各々の心境を重んじる作品です。
