相方システムと呼ばれる特殊な制度が導入された女子高に通う少女たちの物語である本作。

初対面の相方からいきなり、私に相応しくないわ、などと言われてしまった四街道カイロ(メガネ&ボクっ娘)。

カイロにそう言ったのは、高飛車で自分勝手な性格の我孫子ユカという先輩で。

彼女たちもまた、先輩後輩で相方となった「希少種」と呼ばれる存在だったのだが……
