金を踏み倒そうとして侍が閉じ込められている吉原遊郭。
そんなところに14歳で売られてきたかおりのお話です。
売られてきた子たちはこういう風に良いことばかり聞かされて来たんでしょうね。
田舎から連れてこられた野暮ったい子でも身なりを整えるとまったく違って見えます。
太夫を見て勉強するかおりはどこまで上っていけるでしょうか。
