User review for "Love Drug! Ver. Shiba Inu"

Serious puppy is serious

The Love Dog series follows a heroine and her puppy who one day turns into a human. In this volume, your beloved shiba inu Shinsaku turns into a serious and traditional young man.

Hayasaka's voice is deep and calming, which suits the character pretty well. The story takes it time to pan out and that's a good thing to get into the atmosphere considering most stories go directly into the banging. Unlike the first volume, there's a lot of extra content in this volume like 2 types of H, one where Shinsaku is sweet and another where he gives into jealousy and becomes a bit of a sadist.

The story is pretty predictable but that doesn't reduce the enjoyment since they chose a fairly shoujo-esque plot. Since I had listened to the first one and it left quite an impression on me, it was surprising to see the way this one ended (hint: it didn't break me).

For those who enjoy weird modern day fantasies, this is a must listen! Even if you aren't I'm sure the cute Shinsaku will get you into it!
