時代物の姫と忍者集団の頭領の悲恋ものです。
忍でありながらも姫を姫君としてではなく、一人の女性として恋をして一夜を共にするのですが、松下尚之さんの落ち着いた低音の声に色気があり、致すシーンはゾクゾクする演出がたくさん組み込まれていて聞き応えがありました。
切ない悲恋ではあるものの、忍と姫君のそれぞれの立場から迎える納得のいく結末になっていると思います。
