本作はエディット機能が本家よりかなり自由度が高いです。武将の能力や所在などがシナリオ作成で変えられるので、多様なIfをプレイヤーが設定できます。
信長を九州の大名にしたり、足利将軍家の権威を高めたり、当時蝦夷と呼ばれ異郷だった北海道に大名家を配置したりとプレイヤーのさじ加減で様々なトンでも戦国時代を作ることができます。
本家にはない面白設定で戦国乱世を生き抜けw
なお、変更の度合い次第ではかなりの時間と労力が必要です。
