癒しや安眠を謳った作品は色々ありますが、この作品は完全に眠らせることを主眼に置いた作品です。
作品タイトルが「眠れない夜に」となっていますが、まさに色々考えちゃって眠れない夜にこの作品を聞いています。

優しく耳かきをしてくれたり、囁き声でとりとめもない話をしてくれるのを聞いていると、自然と心配事を忘れて眠りについています。
(耳舐めも、激しいものではなく、優しい感じの耳舐めです)
