怪奇ミステリ―と言うのが、分かり易い表現と思う。
作者の某サイトで、ホームズの姪が主人公の、怪奇ミステリーを読めます。参考にしたい方はまずそちらへ。
今作品自体が独立してるので、そのまま楽しめます。

ホームズって名前だけ、一人歩きしてる感があったのですが、作品を読むうちに人柄が分かりました。
結構クレイジーなモノに手を染めてたのが、ビックリでした。当時と今の考え方の違いも表現されてる所があり、原作を読みたくなります。
