A retro platformer inspired by a classic NES series.
Just like the first Rock Maiden FC, the gameplay is very accurate and the 8-bit rendition of touhou tracks made by Carrotwine sounds amazing.
My main problem with the first one was the short length and low difficulty. But Rock Maiden FC2 correct this with the addition of a unlockable hard mode after betting the game. Hard mode doesn't just add more enemies, it change the level design and change some boss patterns. It's worth playing, and make the game twice as long.
It still isn't too hard for veteran players, so I still recommend to play the game without charge shots (you can disable it in the options), and without using E-tanks.
If you like retro 2D platformer games and touhou, you'll definitely enjoy it.
