過去作品と比べて特徴的なのは、今作は嗚咽を交えつつ「ゴメンナサイ」を繰り返しているだけ、ということだ。
単調と思うかもしれないが、それ以上の背景や、なぜ謝り続けているかという事情が分からない点が重要です。

恐怖とは分からないものに対する怯えから来ている感情とも言えるので、そこを掻き立てられる本作は本質的恐怖を演出していると言えるでしょう。
