タイトル通り今作は本編のゲーム内容を強化するパッチなので、当然ながら本編を購入しなければいけません。
単なる高画質化のみならずエッチシーン追加、回想モードが使いやすくなったりと本編を持っているなら購入しない理由がありません。
画質に関しては雲泥の差で、その違いはデモムービーを見れば一目瞭然です。
「最高画質」モードではその分処理も重くなりますが、公式サイトの方にベンチマークアプリがあるのでそちらで動作確認ができます。
