前作よりも戦闘より探索重視な作品です。
制限日数までに指定されたアイテムを探すために情報収集し、素材を集めて合成したり、特定の人物から譲って貰ったりして進めていくゲームです。
戦闘は対策を取って一方的に自分を有利にして戦っていくタイプです、序盤は装備を間違えるだけで勝てない相手もいます。
新しい敵が出るたびに何が有利なのか手探りで探さないといけないので少し不親切だなと感じました。
