前作「へべれけ!」から全体的にパワーアップしています。
とくに面白くなったと思うのは、司令部パートでエデルガルトを操作し司令部内を探索できること。ステージ毎にキャラが違うセリフを言うので飽きずに楽しめます。
それと、「移動後攻撃不可」や「要敷設」といった兵器が多くなったことで、慎重な兵器の運用と調達が必要になります。
またシナリオでは、分岐によってドイツ軍を勝利に導くことができ、燃えます。
