付属のエディターで追加したキャラ以外はランダムで生成配置されるため、毎回違う流れになるゲーム。プレイヤーは基本的に君主のいる一都市しか受け持てず、終盤と言わず3都市くらいを支配した程度の序盤から、もうプレイヤーの制御を離れ始めていく。
太守が勝手に侵攻→都市を維持できず寝返りは基本。全く思い通りになってくれない配下たちを面白く眺めていられるならば楽しい。効率プレイとは完全に無縁なので、気長なプレイを。飽きたらCPUたちの戦いをただ観戦するのもいい。
