ロリな女の子と触手を持った生物が出会い、愛し合い……というストーリーです。絵的にも、女の子のぽわんとした可愛らしさとか淡い色使いとか優しいタッチで癒されます。
一方で終盤には純真な心が持つ怖さみたいなのもちょっとあって、甘いだけじゃない読後感はなんとも言えませんが魅力ですね。
