身も凍る恐怖体験をしてから数年。
いまだにトラウマとなっていた姉弟だったが、
それを払拭するため悪友とともにいわく付きの廃校へ肝試しに行き・・・

変わらずに雰囲気のある絵が特徴で、夜中に一人でやるのがおすすめです。
今作だけでも楽しめますが、シリーズものであるため
ナンバリングどおりにプレイした方がより楽しめます。
(特に5番目の災いの日本人形に関連あり)

今までと作風が少し変わったかなと思ってましたが、
"鬼才「花乱」が描く"とあるとおり今作シナリオは専門の人が書いたようですね。
それだけに今までより恐怖度アップ・・・かも?
