タイトル通り、ロマサガ(より正確にいうなら2以降)のようなRPGです。戦闘中に技がひらめいたり、サブイベントが膨大だったり。
また、サブイベントでの選択によってはその後のシナリオが少し変わったりするので、それら全てを合わせると膨大な量に成るのでやりこみがいがあると思います。
ただ、サブイベントをこなさず、真っ直ぐにクリアすると成ると直ぐに終わってしまうので、本筋の国奪還をじっくりと見たいという方にはお勧めできない作品だと思います。
また、前作と違って着替え要素はほぼ無しなのでそこはご注意を。
