行方不明の姉弟子が怪人の姿で主人公の前に現れるというオーソドックスな展開の作品ですが、姉弟子との突然の再開に動揺しつつも抵抗を図り、結局堕落していく主人公を見事に描き切っています。
また、全体的には悪者系の態度や言葉遣いでありながら、主人公のことをかつての愛称で呼んでくれるヒロインが変わらない部分を示しつつ、完全に変わってしまっている描写で素敵でした。
