身体に欠損があるために介護者を必要とする少女。
その介護者の視点で物語が綴られるものだが、本を読み、感想を添える少女の日常に添い続けるものとなっている。
傍観者として欠損少女の物語を読み続けるものではあるが、そのうちに物語の中に引き込まれ、欠けた身体の切なさが迫ってくる。
