完全オリジナルの外伝という期待を裏切らない出来でした。
奔放なアイリのルーツに関わる話で、原作ではあまり語られない部分だったのでよかったです。

ただ作中で気になったのは、最初のほうに吸魔鬼に襲われたシーンで覚醒して複数の吸魔鬼を葬ってますよね...?
でもAppendの敗北シーンでは吸魔鬼に勝てないですよね...?
結局のとこアイリにとって吸魔鬼は天敵なんですかね?笑
ちょっとそんなことを考えさせられる作品でした。笑
