姉である深雪との交流を、幼いときから丁寧に描いている。深雪がいかに主人公のことを大切に想っているのか、幼少のころから、毎年毎年刻み込まれる。
民俗伝承をモチーフにした、なじみのあるストーリーをベースにしており、深雪にはつねに、消え入りそうなはかないイメージがついてまわる。彼女を失いたくない。そういう感情にとりつかれるだろう。
「しゅうくんになにかあったら、お姉ちゃん死んじゃうわよ!!」とは本人の言葉だが、あなたの弟想いっぷりの峻烈さに死んじゃいそうなのはこっちです。
