タイトルは変わったが、雷神の最新版と考えていい。
ただし、いくつか仕様が変わった。
1年が24ヶ月になったり、陸戦が加わったなど。
じっくりと腰をすえてやるゲーム。
そのため結構根気が必要。
プレイ時間は長くなるがやりごたえはある。
プレイスタイルも自由自在。
覇王となって侵攻するもよし、部下として活躍するもよし、下克上を狙うもよし。
