古いシステムゆえ、色々不便な面があります。しかし、エンディングを見ていくと新たなルートへの道が開けていきます。
ゲーム内ではわずか数日と言う事もあって、駆け足過ぎたり唐突な部分が見られます。偶然見つけた母の日記から、父と館の秘密を知ったことから始まるサスペンス風のシナリオで進んでいきますが、新しい選択肢が増えていくシステムを逆手にとって最初に良心的なキャラクターをクリアしてから内に狂気を秘めたキャラクタールートの道が開く、容赦のない仕組みこそ本作の醍醐味でしょう。
