遊撃士の修行の一環として、リベール王国を旅し、そこで様々な人々との出会い別れを通じ、成長していくエステルとヨシュア。

そんな王道的なRPGではありますが、ただそれだけには留まらず、後のシリーズで明かされていく国家規模を越えた陰謀の端緒が見られる作品でもあります。

「軌跡」シリーズの原点として、またガガーブシリーズから繋がるファルコムらしさが強く残る作品としても、是非多くの人にプレイして欲しい作品です。
