石化するに至った過程は様々ですが、往々にして突然訳もわからないまま石化され、そのままモノと化してしまうといった無慈悲さが石化の醍醐味をよく表していると思います。

石化する途中の過程を描くことで、女性の恐怖や動揺を見ることができたのもよかったです。
