基本はギャグです。戦闘はシリアスですが敵キャラが基本的に(例外あり)ギャグですので寝とられですが暗さは少ないです。
前作の話とかも含まれるので知らないとわからない部分もありますが、ギャグと割り切れますので問題ないです
