システムとしては行き先と会話の選択肢を決めるアドベンチャーゲームに近い。

この夜勤病棟を夜勤病棟たらしめているのは、
スカトロあり道具ありの変態的でクセのあるHシーンと主人公の歪んだ性格であろう。
その中でも、初代の主人公である比良坂竜二のキャラの濃さは印象的で、同シリーズの他の主人公が霞んでしまうほど。
