H.P.ラブクラフトの小説、インスマスの影をモチーフにしたと思われる作品。
3DCGによる作品であるが、人物等の質感が素晴らしく、加えてモーションが単純単調ではなく、そのクオリティは高い。
画面下部にテキストが表示されるタイプのノベルゲーム形式で進んでいくが、2DCGの一般的なそれとは異なり、画面が頻繁に変わっていく紙芝居のようなスタイル。
テキストも読みやすく、自然と作品の世界に引き込まれていく。
