”榎本あかまる”先生の伝えたい事が、しっかりと伝わって
くる、表題作・第一話～第九話までが収録された一巻目。
印象的な収録作品は、母親が仕事で出掛けていて、ひとり
で”お留守番”している女の子が、不思議な”いきもの”と出
会う・・・「第一話・小花とたまうさぎ1」。母親の事を
気づかい、涙を見せない様に必死で頑張る女の子の健気さ
(けなげさ)が読者の涙腺を緩ませる、切ないお話でした。
読んでいて感じたのは、お話ごとに、牽引(けんいん)する
登場人物が変遷(へんせん)してゆきますが、そのこころに
”寂しさ(さみしさ)”を抱えている点は共通していて、不思
議な”いきもの”に、救われてゆきます。少しづつ、明るさ
を取り戻してゆく登場人物に、読者も勇気づけられる一冊。
