の表題作12本が収められた作品集。
ストーリーは、その昔、交通機動隊の最前線で活躍し、今
は警ら班で”余生”をすごす、”自意識”のあるパトカーさん。
配属された新人女警(じょけい)とのコンビで、日々の業務
をこなす日常をコミカルに描いていました。
読んでいて感じたのは、”気骨ある自意識”をもったパトカ
ーさんの”一人語り”で、牽引してゆく展開が、他には無い
読み心地を醸し出しているところ。
次々に登場する”ひとクセ”ある女性キャラクターと、小ネ
タ的パトカーの知識が、豊富に盛り込まれた、快活な一冊。
