参考文献をもとに描く、四本の独立したストーリーを
収めた作品集。
印象的な収録作品は、戦時下、ドイツの強制収容所に
収監された女性達の不幸を描いた「特別棟の女たち」。
搾取する側、搾取される側、という、立場の違いから
人間は、かくも冷酷になれるのか・・・が、ヒシヒシ
と伝わってくる作品でした。
読んでいて印象的だったのは、繊細なタッチで優しく
スッキリと描かれた絵柄が、重厚なストーリーを読み
やすくさせている点。
そんな時代もあったのかと、感慨を抱く、そんな一冊。
