ランスシリーズの八作目。追加ディスクとしてランスクエストマグナムも発売されています。はじめからマグナムとあわせてプレイしましたが、ゲームとしてとても面白く、またストーリーも非常に面白かったです。キャラクターが多いので、新規の方がやるのはおすすめしにくいですが、そうでなければ満足する内容だと思います。
