商業・同人問わず、現在ほどクトゥルフ関連の作品が少なかった90年代にクトゥルフ要素を取入れたアドベンチャーゲームとして有名な作品である「黒の断章」の続編になります。
本作のあとに続編がつくられる予定だったのが、
結局作られなかったため、本シリーズの最後の作品になっています。
90年代の作品で絵に対して、レトロさ、古臭さ、ある種の新鮮さを覚える方がいると思いますが(プレイしていくと慣れますが)、商業作品なのでシナリオはしっかりとしていますし、値段も安価なので興味を持たれたら購入してはどうでしょうか。
